Got rid of cable yesterday...

tripled our internet speed...kept voip...and saved almost $50/month.

FAST has some leeway for perspective.

I remember dial up being fast...until we got cable...and then they improved our speed and the old cable was slow.

Our new speeds seem RFF to us hicks, but I'm certain they'd seem slow to the city dwellers...

We were promised FAST by our Feral Guvverment.

So of course there'll be...... perspective  leeway  [laugh]

I'd settle for the current snail's pace... if it didn't run out three weeks into the month (youngerheuer notwithstanding  [bang])... and/or if I could be allowed the decadent capitalist concept of ... I dunno... buying more.  Radical I know.

They do throttle our speeds based on what we pay.
