Done being slammed with work events for a few months.   Good lawd I am DONE!   Where the hell are those pom moms?

In related news:   Churchill's great grandkid wasn't too bad one-on-one in the hoopty for 2 hours the other night.  Interesting guy to say the least.  More like...impetuously inauthentic.

In other news:  I'm so looking forward to spending a long weekend with zero plans other than getting caught up on painting, cleaning, sorting, organizing...

Maybe I'll cook (in the oven) a beer can chicken on Thursday while I paint... hmmmm  any good recipes?  Anyone?

I only have drinking recipes.

Sorry.

Simple and good.

Preheat oven to 450
Rinse cavity with lemon juice, then rub with garlic.
Coat skin with olive oil, salt and pepper.
Place a sprig of rosemary under the skin on each side of the breast.
Place  some rosemary in the cavity.
Put the beer can mounted chicken in the oven and lower to 350 after a few minutes.

Don't tell your doctor,  but fingerling, small red bliss or Yukon gold potatoes roasted in the drippings are fantastic!

Stella

Howie, I was just thinking about you!

Thanks for the recipe.  Sounds perfectly delicious and easy.   [drool]

Not sure if this link will work for you or not but thought you'd appreciate.   Sort of.  Maybe not since the squirrel doesn't die.   ;)

[coffee] [coffee]  Morning all! Evening to some  [laugh]

I am a student today and tomorrow, slept in, go in half an hour later and learn!  Off Wednesday, Thanksgiving with friends, then Friday get up at the regular time and drive 8ish hours to Oregon. I have Monday off too  [thumbsup]

Seattle might see a dusting of snow this week [clap]  Watching everyone try to drive is fun.
