Nope... I went SonoS for the big screen and streaming. No rear speakers, but plans for outside.

I'm still rocking a '70's Marantz receiver with a turntable  :P
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

still my walls are 6"[total] thick filled cement blocks . . . main bedroom's floor is living and dinning room's roof is 8"thick rebar reinforced concrete . . .

It's the preferred media around here. It's now so old it's become cheap.

I let the kids pick out records at the used store-they're a buck each.

So far the favorite they've found is "Little Honda"

Sounds like a personal issue.  ;D

I can use wireless all the way from the house down to the main road which is why I can add outside speakers to the SonoS

My system works great for me.

So I'm guessing you'll use them all close to the source because of range if you went that way?
