George is quite a specimen himself.

Definitely not lean and mean...but he can throw bales like a bale thrower and get them as high as an elevator. ;)

Self soaked in the community pool for an hour yesterday (with text books in tow) which was across the parking lot from my bench under the tree in the park.  Headed back there again later this morning.  I simply canNOT study at home.  Wish I could.


And speaking of baling hay and stocking the loft:  those days I do not miss!   100% humidity, 90+ degrees, mosquitos, flies of all types, legs and arms scratched to hell because it was either shorts or jeans in that weather.  (Pick your poison.).   Shudder.   

Coffee and I'm outta here.   Enjoy the hay-free day!

It's a dry heat...  Just like an oven.

They're saying it's 114 here and 5%.
It's hot for sure, but dryness makes it less obnoxious.

Thanks/no thanks to the bird that shit all over me and my books and the fact that the pool was at capacity, I had no choice but to head home.

Mid 70's here in Klamath Falls. I am inside looking over slides for a custom class on Wednesday. I drive home on Tuesday and have to be on site to teach Wed at 0630! Can't wait for my vacation. With any luck, I will be moving then. Depends on finding a place. I might have to spend more or look outside of the city  >:( :'(

We were 107 and about 10%. I spent the day outside... it was nice. I didn't even finish the near gallon of water on ice. :P
