looks like a Eucalyptus Alpina?? ... gone feral in a non-alpine environment... it's tall.

Limb dropping antidote:  Water.

Lot's of it.

Thanks!

Lots of water, eh?
Fark. We've got lots of some things, but not that.

The trees know that.  That's why they're protesting.

Had a bunch at my college.  Called them widow  makers. Left work early,  have an appointment downtown.  Stress are closed due to the President being in town. Drove home and got a  bus.

Beer thirty later.

Is it smart to park under a tree that is chronically dropping branches? :-\

All packed for my flight to CA to pick up the "Posh Ford".

Now...   [shot]
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Well, if that were my M3, I'd park elsewhere.
But it's not.

Figured you wouldn't be parking there given the situation.

Owner well insured?

Well, I've got a '99 Saturn, so it's a bit different situation from an M3 ragtop.

Technically, the trees belong to the city, or so I'm told.
They confirm that ownership by doing make the beast with two backsall with the trees.

Owner of the house got the trees shaved nekkid about a year ago, so they stopped dropping 15' long branches...because they didn't have any.
I was hoping Ung would reveal a magic branch adhesion antidote that was free, or at least cheap.
I strongly suspect that the owner won't step up to copious watering of the trees.

About the worst thing you can do with gum trees - if the aim is to prevent limb dropping - is to coppice them.  Sure, in the short term there are no limbs to drop, but the regrowth will be vastly more prone to plunging to the ground that the original branch structure ever was.

Brush-off.

Or Stihl.  6" above the ground.
