I do understand Dave lives in Cali . . . I read somewhere they're "importing" water from other states . . . I k ow what you mean about diff weather situations . . . if it does not rain for 3 days straight here, we get alarmed . . . this from April to Dezember . . . Average rain is 5 days out of 7

We won't get into 'water rights' here.

Where I live water comes from the ground...

and you can drink it.

Where Steve lives they need to gather the water that falls from the sky.

Where Dave lives there isn't enough.

Where you live water just seems to happen.

Roughly speaking, Panama City gets the same amount of rainfall in October alone that California gets all year.

Or, California has ~ twice as many people per square mile, but ~20% of the rainfall.

With such a shallow well and clay right below, it shouldn't take long for it to be saturated. We only get rain a few months of the year, at best.

I'll probably be listing it up in December/January or some such. Plan isn't hashed out yet-I need to wait until Paula gets home.

The realtor wants to keep trying but there's no way around the water issue.

My well guy suggested investing the same money a well would cost in a reno casino would have a better return.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.
