Got a small appreciation bonus at work today   [thumbsup]

Boss also said that she is working on another raise and end of year bonus. That one was nice last year!

Back from DC last night and for the first time, our board of directors recognized staff.  A few on the side shared that they knew it was our tiny staff that does the heavy lifting.   Now if I could just get paid....

Had one incident after dinner when I walked back to the hotel after a dinner with another board member and her daughter who was in tow.  Walked through a park and about a dozen squirrels rats ran out in front of us, some over our feet.  (Thought they were squirrels at first.)

Three women screaming in a park waking up the homeless folks trying to get some sleep.   Quite the scene.  

In other news:   Bought 4 different Saisons last night.  Time to try at least one.

Thanks all! It is nice to have hard work recognized. Part of the acknowledge was that I carry the teaching load. 5 eight hour days next week  [laugh]
