Trip went...poorly.

The initial flight out or the local airport was delayed, so we missed the connection in Phoenix. So instead of  arriving in Boston around 8 pm California time, we ended up being flown back to Los Angeles and catching a red-eye to Boston.

Paula went and got the rental car while I got the baggage with the kids, then we made it to the signing, collapsed here late in the evening.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

ducpainter

that's unfortunate.

Sounds a little like the flight we took out there when we got delayed in Detroit for what seemed like an eternity. Our trip took 24 hours. [bang] [bang]

It happens, but it's rough.

Hard to explain to the kids.

They're finally settling a bit.

I've been happily telling the locals I'm from California.

"Wait'll you live through a New England winter!"

"It can't it can't get much colder'n this can it?"  [laugh]

You didn't tell them you were dumb enough to come back? ;D

It didn't come up.

It's more fun to feign ignorance.

...and you do have that Cali twang now.

It'd be hard to tell you're a native MAss..le. :-*

I'll keep wearing my Raiders hat.

Should make me popular.

I'm happy we bought the house that has the nicer heating system. Toasty in here. The place needs some minor work to make it more better, but nothing like past projects.

...and it was less than half the price. [thumbsup]

Over time, a very long time, you'll make up the difference in heating fuel, but it's easier to take...from my perspective, anyway.
