If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Gonna snow.

It's delaying my work trip across the state â€" up and over that big hill we have.   So I went ruuunnneng (said in my best FG voice).  Likely a morning departure now.

Good morning . ..

Locally, today is pur equivalent to "April's Fools Day" . . . Today I don't feel like joking around . ..

I may have shared it before but my best fools day prank:   changing out the perfectly good for dead batteries in a couch potato TV junkie ex's tv remote (decades ago) when he left the room.   I swapped them back and forth about a half dozen times while he tried to figure out the issue  â€" eventually going to the store to buy brand new off the shelf batteries.  He hated that the remote would work perfectly for me.    [evil]

Speaking of pranks.....

I did manage to get a steel belted radial over the flagpole at my high school. They had a lot of trouble cutting it off.

Listening to the audio book on Alexander Hamilton, a few blips about when the British finally left with their tails between their legs but their parting gesture (I believe the narrator mentioned happened in Philly) was greasing the local flag poles.  That gave me a chuckle.  ;)   Something I would have done.

Dizzyland was fun, best of all the GLW had a good time.

Ended up a 20 hour day, with way more walking and standing around than either of us are used to.
First half of today was a write-off.
But no significant haywireness occurred, and on-site food was decent.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.
