It might, but, I figure I'll give it a try anyway.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

It might not. I ran a Fisher (stove) with an 8" stack through a 6" thimble into an 8" flue for years without issue. I had a flue damper too.

The last one of these I had came with the option of a 6" or 8" adapter out of the fireplace-I figure I'm just moving it higher.

At lest it's a straight shot up.  :P

No wonder you have no interest in changing it. ;D

I really dislike climbing on steep icy roofs for some reason.

It's still too small. I can't think of a real good way to expand without rebuilding three walls and a roof, which seems a waste.

Ideally it would expand to cover where that Jeep is parked, and be 10' deeper.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

ducpainter

It's going to be difficult to do that with that structure.

Sort of my thoughts.

I don't want a ton of buildings out back, and that's likely the best spot.

I did debate moving this one to the front.

It really isn't big enough to bother with. The cost to move it vs. building another... ???

Unless you do it yourself. :P

I've moved a few buildings.

Can't say I every enjoyed it.

I could build behind it and it'd be fairly out of sight, but I'd have to clear a bunch of trees.

I moved that screen house to where it is. It fell off the trailer and rolled onto its side. ;D

I think I'd get over the attachment to that little shed and build a real shop where it stands. I assume there's already power? 240V?

Just 110, but there's a good amount of spare capacity in the house now that we went from two electric dryers to one gas.

I wouldn't say attachment so much, but it is new, and I could use a tractor shed.
