The lesson there was that disloyalty pays.

It would've been cheaper for them to keep me over training someone new.


Long term planning has gone in favor of the short term.


'course the last place is busy going out of business.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Disloyalty, only works for so long. They get tired of that game too.

The fab shop I was escorted out of was auctioned off a few years ago. ;D

A shame, in that I probably missed some good deals on machinery.  :P

There were a few Bridgeports and a small lathe or two. Most of the stuff would have required you build a much larger garage than you're planning.

Well, bigger is better for shops, but I'd rather have something small enough that I can heat it easily.

Mostly I'm trying to work around it-it seems silly to put in the money and time to build a shop when the same cash could just...pay someone to do it. Easier to make the existing setup work somehow.

All of it seems more pleasant now that I'm not trying to frantically finish because I think the well is going to go dry and I need to move.
