Just crispy grass and shrubs around these parts thanks to the sun and wind.  No complaints when you watch the news of the Cali fires.   :'(


In other news:  great Indian dinner last night with friends telling tales of their Appalachian Trail thru hike from decades ago.   I've always been intrigued by this.  hmmm....


Time to pack and head to the hills for a few work days with the weather in my favor.

My driveway seems bigger when I use the shovel.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Penny was not feeling well this morning-bad enough that Paula took her to the local walk in clinic, who did some tests and promptly sent her off to the Children's hospital in Boston.

All I know at this point.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

All blood work came back clean.

Discharged.

Yay.
