Morning . . .

Nate, if I get hired to do something I KNOW HOW TO DO and get certified, do not tell me I am doing it wrong when, in your f#;÷£#Â¥g life you have held in your hands and even have NOT used an orbital polisher and then call me a liar . . . After I do MY part, 4 step paint prep: clay bar-rubbing compound-polishing compound-glaze . . . It is NOT my departement to apply the ceramic coating, it is someone else's job to do that; 2 people working, 1 preps, 1 applies ceramic coating that week/vehicle; next week/vehicle, roles reverse . . . According to the guy, I chipped the hood of the vehicle I was prepping, when at the time of receiving the vehicle, ALL DIRTY AND COVERED IN A THIN LAYER OF MUD, he himself wrote, "due to condition of vehicle possible scratches or/and chips ARE NOT visible, therefore, the shop once vehicle is washed WILL asses condition AND take photos of chips and/or scratches that were NOT visible" . . . He did ALL of that, and since the customer said, "my car was NOT chipped like that"  . .  the ONLY person that "touched the paint", was me . . . Call me a sonofapregnant dog, call me an asshole BUT never call me a liar ans threaten me in front of others . . . I just looked at him, dropped the tools I had in my hands, went to locker, changed and left . . .  Now customer "remembered" that he was driving behind a dumpster truck on the highway and that "a few pebbles might have had hit the vehicle" . . .

I understand. It just seems that every time you leave a job you've wanted to punch someone in the throat. You need to figure out how to tame that Latin blood.

You have to figure out how to keep a job. The opportunities will diminish, even more, as you get older. I've been where you are, and ended up going broke working for myself.

Remember...every boss is an asshole. Especially if you work for yourself.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Every boss is indeed an asshole.

Every cigarette takes four minutes off your life.
Every drink takes two minutes off your life.

And every work day takes eight hours off your life.  :P

Truth.

My brother recently retired (late 50's).  He and his wife left Atlanta about a month ago to travel around the country for a year.  My sisters and I all commented that he looks 20 years younger in the pics we've seen of him lately.

This one, I didn't punch . . . is just that you cannot call me something I am not in front of anyone, specially if you have NO idea on HOW to do the job . . . At the end, he didn't make the clause "vehicle is dirty and chips and scrat hes cannot be seen"

You're right Carlos. Unfortunately you're also unemployed.

Speeddog

My own personal research revealed that most bosses are indeed assholes who have no idea how to do the job at hand.

Working for oneself doesn't necessarily change that situation.
