When we moved into our house there was no water spigot on the outside which would make gardening and vehicle washing difficult.  I needed to run pipe down a stone wall at the proper pitch to drain for the winter and out through a wood section.  I walked down to the hardware store to get what I needed.  The counter person suggested  I go to the plumber a couple of stores down and let them do it.  As it turned out, this was a plumber that normally does commercial work, but does take small neighborhood jobs to keep his crew working.  The job was done in about an hour for probably not much more than it would have cost in parts and supplies.  The big difference (besides them knowing what they are doing)?  A truck full of elbows, brackets etc. that, for me, would have been many trips to the store.

Anyway, my experience with under sink waste pipe is you usually need to by to big and cut to fit.

It's nice enough to get a bunch of work outside again.

Going to expand the garden a bit.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Flight gets in at midnight. [thumbsdown]

I better get to it then.

Planting 'em for me mum tomorrow. Last Tuesday I built her some garden beds near her door and filled 'em with dirt.

She'll be happy.
