DD, it's not like both of you were going to work there forever, right?
I'm all in on the good choice.

You are correct.  B will likely retire in a few years and I don't see myself staying there forever.  I have pretty much maxed out what I can accomplish where I am now for various reasons out of my control.

Trip to CO is on the radar.  I can fly out on Frontier pretty cheap.  Arrive Friday night and leave Monday morning.  A short trip is better than none.

^ this! ^  [thumbsup] [beer]

And congrats on making the switch Diva, that's exciting news!

In other news:  I did something tonight I haven't done in about 25 years:  Bought a frozen pizza from the grocery store for dinner.  Whopping $6. And it tasted like a $6 pizza.   [puke]  However, in my defense, I got a dog sitter/walker and escaped the dog drama and went into the mountains about 9000 feet up for some mtn bike therapy for a few hours.  I was Carlos-level hangry by the time I got home.

Evening.  [drink]

Told them I wanted the job.  Now just the tedious process of ironing out the details.

So we can talk about this on FB now????

I had pistachios. Good to be home but too tired to cook.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Nope! I haven't given notice yet and the transition is likely 4-6 weeks away.

From the "It Figures" files:   Canine Thing 1 didn't need to go out in the middle of the night for the first time in a month.  But yet I was wide awake all night.  (Maybe it was that $6 pizza?)

Have a good day all and especially to the mom's!

There are must better options than $6 pizza in the freezer section.  Personally partial to Amy's Kitchen enchiladas.

Good hear Brian made it through the night.   [thumbsup]

This boat, saltwater or fresh? (Not the 4-cylinder with integral anvil one, the theoretical boat)

Saltwater.

The owner is in Florida. I wouldn't be surprised if it sank in one of the hurricanes and was brought up here.

It also doesn't come with the trailer it's on in the pictures.

My brother tried telling me he thought it was worth it because the marina had "gone through it"....yeah...everything except the motor. On a powerboat.  [roll]

I offered to find him a hull with mo motor and no trailer for half that but he had some objection.

[coffee] [coffee]  Finally up and at it here! Slept for 11 hours  :o :o :o

Going to brunch with the gf and her mom.

Then home to mow the grass, do my time card for work, laundry, some cooking, and right back at it.
At UW all day Mon and Tues.

Congratulations Diva!
