I thought I'd read a few of Rat's stories before bed.

Which I did.  Several. 

But then I noticed names from the past (some missed - BadGalBetty, Pip, and some not so much who shall remain nameless) and clicked on their last and not so last posts and threads and and and   2 hours later.... 


Gut rot is gone though.   [thumbsup]


Class all day again on Friday so now I really do have to hit the pillow.

Names from the past Stella! Pip is missed, a few not so much.

Sleep is critical to well being. I make myself go to bed at least 8 hours before I need to be up. Might not sleep, but I try.

Now I am on vacation till after the 4th. Woke up a little after 5. Good thing, I have a tour of the Alaskan Copperworks plant at 090. Plus, I am supposed to be sleeping over at the gf's house. I stayed till late and then came home. Here dogs can go in and out at will. Headed over there in an hour or so to feed them and hang out for a little bit.

In other news, in past years there has only been one hawk (not sure which variety and if it's the same one) that lives nearby.  This year, there have been at least five hanging around.  So cool to watch fly low and just perch close by but their tune needs some work.

I'll work on getting some pics sometime soon.  Study break excuse.

evening . . .

one of the ladies of the riding group decided to invite a friend who is vegetarian . . . I told her, we will have tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, green/red/yellow/orange peppers, green beans, asparagus and if not mistaken lettuce . . . she told me I was an asshole, I told here, "the best one you will ever find" . . . money was tendered and HER husband is the one who gave the money to purchase the meats[beef, pork, chicken, some fish and shrimp] and the veggies for the salad . . . what she wants, is a different menu altogether . . . NOT my issue, I am in charge of coals, and cooking, the veggies, are her sister's department

Evening.  [beer]

Pumped and vacuumed up as much of the water as possible.  Wet items moved to the trash.  Heavy duty dehumidifier rented and running.

 [coffee] [coffee] up early here - taking my landlady to the airport! 10 days of quiet from the upstairs.
I will have her dog for that whole time, but Maizy is easy to watch.


Good luck with the basement D. Maybe dig a French drain?
