I'm OK with big pieces of wood. Framing is pretty easy. The finish stuff I struggle with. Partly because I'm working with what amounts to a hatchet, a skillsaw,  when I need a fancy saw. To put things in perspective, I needed 50' of extension cord to get from the access road to the site.

The one at the bottom right, in the lower pic, is a left. Then a decreasing radius right, and another left.

It is. The natural beauty of the site calls out.

Yesterday Genesis was doing a media thing,

Today, Dodge was there doing some development for an upcoming media event.

Genesis tomorrow and Friday.

In other news:  Another state exam checked off the boss's list with a "pass".   That mofo was HARD!  I did the college thing in my 30's so those tests are (somewhat) memorable and I know that none of them were nearly as challenging.  Oops, except stats.  That was worse.  Way worse.

One more on Friday and I haven't given myself nearly enough time to study.  And soooo many work projects due.   :P 

But whatever.  The kiddos stuck in the cave in Thailand are safe.   [thumbsup]

The GLW and I put in a massive day today. Walls and ceiling done!

Carpet, underlay, spiky carpet claw strips and associated nails and staples removed!

Skirts need sanding and painting, plus door and window frame, then a good hot mop of the polished boards, (yep underneath the tatty carpet) and we can roll out the mat and move the furniture back in.

Oh and we've just got to put the blades back on the ceiling fan, reattach the cooling vent and put the lace curtain and blind back up!
