Been fighting the crud since this weekend.  Currently residing in my chest.

Welding class is going ok.  Beating myself up too hard over not producing perfect welds.  I get frustrated and don't really find it fun.  Need to figure out a way to not overthink it, maybe listing to music might help.

I've been welding for ~40 years, primarily OA, and my conclusion is it's very very dependent on seat time.
More time spent making beads = better beads.

Frustration/tension definitely does not help.
If you can relax and just let it roll, it's better for sure.
Like riding a moto.

Some days are just not "on" for me, just like on a moto.
