I'm almost done winterizing the shop.


Almost done with all the detail work on the bathroom I was doing.

Did you all know you can't cut crown molding like baseboard and have it fit? Completely unintuitive.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

I've done neither, but a miter saw or miter box seems the ticket. Where is it going wrong?

I have a compound miter saw. I thought I knew how to use it, but after turning a couple of pieces into scrap I broke down and watched a few youtube videos.

You need to flip it upside down, then cut. What a pain in the butt.
