It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Morning, folks.

been jammed up with permit issues for the house next door.   chimneys bth finally coming down later this month and we have signed permits in hand... only a couple years and a few hearings later....

We do have new pier though.   That's good.

Otherwise same old same old.   Hired two new attorneys.   Haven't been riding.  Have been driving and sailing (but this was a horrible season for both.  record rain.

kid is almost 13.   plays keeper on a travel (multi county but not all-state) soccer team.   already borrowing her mom's clothes.

one day I'll sell bikes and trailer but they're in nice garage at least.

I'll be back in a few to chat and catch up.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

It is.

Might go light the fire and get some work done.

Don't tell anyone, but rumor has it I might actually paint something tomorrow.

Supposed to warm up.

I won't be, unless I get a heat lamp or a bigger heater and leave it running.  :P

Is this related to the new ventilation?

When I use my fan, in the winter, I run the pellet heater at full throttle as well as the propane heater...at full bore.

I need to crack a door or the pellet heater runs funky...something about air flowing in the wrong direction in the firebox. :P

Basically I'm pumping every btu out through the wall.

No, I haven't mounted the fan yet.

Too much thermal mass, IMO. That car/slab gets down to 30 degrees with everything else.

I can warm up the air in a few hours. Nothing else gets warm out there.

I would need a larger heater to keep up with venting, and it's one room, so I'd rather not have one burning away merrily while I paint.
