Afternoon.

I need more hours in the day.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Ugh.  Tomorrow.  Lack of daylight looming large.



10pm call from a friend Friday night who lives 30 minutes away and asked I take her and her cat to an ER clinic (another 20 minute drive even further out).   Back home around 12:30 this morning after bringing her back home sans gato â€" who unfortunately didn't make it.

Today's activities in no particular order:  5.25 mile run, made a double batch of butternut squash soup, booked a trip to Panama for end of the year w/another friend, got to a big bike swap, tried to nap but failed, one tall Mexican Chocolate Stout consumed, and now it's time for this weary woman to fall asleep during another episode of Breaking Bad.   [bacon]

Yes.  I report to her and the fool president.  She's fair and diplomatic and has been a champion of the little people like me.


Taking the wee quadruped for a home visit today.  The home of a dog sitter I've used.  She wants to see how he'll do at her house vs her staying at my place to sit.  Not optimistic due to her having a cat and another dog.  But it's getting old cleaning the condo like a banshee and loading up with necessities and perks for the sitters every time I go away.   One can hope.

Will be a quick "hi/bye" as we pass through so we won't be taking too much of your time if any.  Possibility of catching a flight from PC to David so wouldn't need a car.  Not sure yet but will keep you in the loop!
