Good morning [coffee]

Mary, the better way is get someone to make the party for you.

That's why I turn up at Nate's.  ;)

Morning.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Two inches of snow yesterday with the week turning to sunny and 60's.  (Trying to find the positive through mother nature amidst the negative work environment â€" ain't always easy!)

We had a face-to-face.
Both sides asking many questions.

Pause in the conversation due to an annual event on their side that needed the VP's attention and to my own work stuff.  I and they are interested but not rushing which I appreciate.  I need to follow up but am considering a number of other options.

One of which is packing everything up for a several months and going to help with some of the needs each of my parents have.  One of two sisters who has been carrying a bit of that responsibility now has to deal with all things breast cancer so that leaves the only other local sister who has kids in school and a full time job....

I thought this day might come.  I would hate to start a new job after such thorough vetting only to have to leave shortly after.  And today, I'm tired of working for someone else.

Lots to ponder, thanks for asking.

In other news:  many opportunities to throat punch today at work but I withheld.  Proud of myself!  Bike trainer therapy tonight and a visit to Montana this weekend will both help.

Penny rocks.  She's got my vote (and that of course is the end of my political talk).   :)
