Long weekend in Montana.  Hit Missoula and Helena (Bozeman being basecamp).  Was thinking after my original visit to Helena a few years ago that I could land there.  This trip confirmed it's a big nope.  Glad I was able to revisit before making any big job change/move there.

Bozeman isn't out of the question nor is Michigan (hometown) for a few months to help with family.

The other job that I had been interviewing for and after having met the VP of sales is off the table.  Having learned of my sister's diagnosis and my dad needing more help, I feel like there's going to be a lot more time in the near future being spent with them which is not conducive to learning a new industry, products and building a book of business. 

I'm still excited for whatever unknown change will happen.

In related news:   I also learned that the current boss's attempt of "wage theft" by retroactively changing my commissions will get refunded back to me.  What a flipping douche canoe and all those other appropriate words for him.   [roll]

What. The. Eff is WRONG with me?!?!

I had every reason to walk out today on the spot.  

Call it fear of the unknown, fear of earning $ to cover a mortgage and living expenses during a state of emergency and all that comes with that....

In 1987, I slammed a door and threw a little flower pot at a guy's house who was a d-bag to me.

Today, was the second time I've reacted this way.  Slammed my bosses door not once, but twice, telling him and another d-bag that they're both toxic and disrespectful and questioned how he could question my integrity over the other guy (a one time event contractor) who we know clearly lies and doesn't do half the job i do.

An event on April 1 and 2, which I make a very healthy commission on is likely not going to happen, thus, no commission.  Thus.... no point sticking around.

My notebook is out and a concrete exit plan is now top priority.
