How's the price on those up there?  Nearly doubled down here.  New price at one of the better BBQ joints - $56/lb.  :o :o

Dunno...this one came out of the freezer. It was likely destined for the DIMBY that didn't happen.

I unexpectedly got to the store before they closed their doors early tonight â€" no thanks to the idiocy that Nate eludes to (we have an 8pm curfew now).  Intent was a veggie salad and needed lettuce â€" which I did get.  But....I may have also brought home a small container of vanilla bean ice cream and fresh strawberries to mash for the topper.  Which became my dinner.  And it didn't suck.    [thumbsup]

Day 2 and feeling better than yesterday.   Gotta really push on the nurses to keep my pain meds on schedule.  Have an appetite, and feeling positive.

Look a little worse for wear, but oh well.

$56/pound is asinine.

I bought a beef pot roast yesterday - $12.99 a pound.  Cooking it today.
