If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Morning.   [coffee]

Bike ride in a light but brief rain late afternoon yesterday was just what I needed.

A busier day with work today, no sales action on the condo, and the dad scheduled for a neuro appt today. I suspect we'll get confirmation on dementia.   Such is life.

Curfew at 9pm so I best get cracking on all my to-do's.     ;)

Can't complain.  Recovery is boring.  Can't wait to take a shower tomorrow.

first day back behind the bar at the place I actually got approved for unemployment at (I work at 2)

nobody knows what is legal anymore. my boss least of all.
I walked out back into a closed off section we use for storage. it's through a shut gate with trash cans, glass racks, linen bags, mobile partitions mostly under tarps, locked storage cabinets, etc. As soon as I opened the door I was met with a naked man who tried to hide behind a 6 inch partition on the shelf that holds the compressor for the walk in. I told him to get dressed and leave, gave him a few seconds of privacy so he could get his boxers back on, then he hid somewhere off camera for 20 min. I later saw him shirtless on our patio and as I was asking hi to put on a shirt he got mad so I told him to go. He got even more upset at being asked to leave a place of business because "a punk ass white boy saw me naked"
Meth is a hell of a drug.
I have a jeruselum cricket somewhere near me scratching at something cardboard and I can't find it. it's incredibly loud and kinda creepy

And now I am hearing what sounds like small caliber gunshots on a night where there has been an unconfirmed threat of riots 2 blocks away.

AND both my corner bar and the liquor store are barricaded and boarded up.
Life, alas is very drear. Up with the glass and down with the beer!
