Afternoon.



Headed into the "big city" to a specialty grocery store an hour away w/sister and niece.   This is the non-family highlight of the past two months.

I even put on colored lip balm to wear under my mask for the occasion.    [thumbsup]

Yeah, it's sometime, someday.

Fortunately/unfortunately the parentals altered their rode trip plans back from SoCal to MI.  One of my nieces was exposed to the 'vid while they were there, so they took my other niece back to WY (she was supposed to fly) and then headed back to MI.  Hopefully they don't get sick.  They seem to think that since niece 1 got a negative test, they are in the clear...  [bang] [bang] [bang]

The guy I work with like 80% of the time @ my M-F just got Covid, so that sucks...

It has been a busy day already.

Minor outpatient surgery for my pop completed.

What seemed like a postage stamp sized driveway became monster-sized when I shoveled 5" of new snow topped with a 1/2" of rain

BIG box of yarn delivered today so I can start knitting (NO yarn that I use can be found in the area) but not until I get back to another one of his doctor's offices this afternoon with a "delivery" of his for more testing.

Then library to pick up WW2 DVD's then knitting and maybe a beer.
