Morning.

My brother is going tuna fishing tomorrow.


He has....no equipment or plan for how to get a fish on board should he get one.

The crew will consist of his fiancée, who does not know how to operate his vessel, gps, or radio.

To quote him...."one of the other boats will help me."


Seems like a disaster in the making to me.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

The tuna fishing expedition sounds really bad.  Don't they sell tuna in stores?  And/or won't an actual fisherman sell his tuna when they arrive back to shore?

Different size limits based on commercial vs not.

He's hoping for a small one. Like...100-200 lbs.

Not lifting that over the side.

Bro made it back. He caught less than me and the kids did in the kayak.  [laugh]

I'm rigging up my own dinghy for fishing local ocean rivers and harbors. Nothing offshore, it's too small.

I don't want to go with him. I don't think he takes the ocean seriously enough.
