Sounds like it was an interesting day for some.


I went through the arduous and personally imposing task of getting clearance to foster fur things again.  Sad that others caused the need for so many levels of security checks but happy to go through it while I'm currently pet-less. 

And the last time I was in that situation was 1995.  In other words, I've spent a bloody fortune for the love and companionship of animals since 1996.  And prior to that was only a few years' gap without.   No wonder I feel off.
