No damage from the storms last night.

Did you see the truck get spun around?

Sorry the last one didn't work out, Nate.

Not your fault. It worked fine for about 4 years, and it was probably 25 years old when I got it. This one is newer, but still a classic. Last made in '96, and this one seems to be a high serial number.

When I picked it up the guys at the auction house said it needed a tuneup. I started it when I got it home, and it ran like shit, but it ran. I put some gas in it and let it warm up for a while. Got out my little screw driver and started screwing around with the carb adjustments. Runs great! I may have to tweak it a little for 0 degree running.

I'm going to service it before I put it in the shed for the summer...grease, oil, check/change belts, look at the friction wheel...stuff I don't want to do when it's freezing cold. I may even get crazy and adjust the valves.

Now I just have to decide what to do with the other one. The engine is really tired, and there are very few Tecumseh parts still available. There's no direct re-power engine available, or I would have gone that route. I'll probably put it out by the road with a low ball price and get it out of my hair. It runs, and as long as the new owner fills the oil before checking the gas...it'll empty the crank case in three hours...it'll probably serve them reasonably well.

Afternoon.

A broken Honda Ruckus got left here  :P

Seems like that might not have been an accident?

Hey all.

Hoping the Incredible family is trending in that direction. Sounds miserable!
Knock on wood - I've dodged it so far.   Helps to be a masked introvert most of the time.

Major work project completed that was a big time buster - glad to have had it since I have yet to do what I was hired to do.

Home for 13 days now before my 4th work trip.  So, last night I went and snagged an emotional support shelter cat for the anxious puppers who seems to be getting worse with separation (which impacts my life). Nothing else has worked to help him and he likes cats.

So far it's relatively good. She briefly went Karen on him this morning.  I only spilled half my cup of coffee breaking that up.  Otherwise they're resting peacefully in their own space in the same room.  For now.

I hope you all stay healthy wealthy and wise.  😉

Hey!

Busted my knee, somehow a dryer sheet found its way to the living room and since I was carrying something that didn't allow me to see down, I put my right foot on it, slid and down I went ... Last person who had taken stuff out of laundry was the missus ...

Yes, been doing my cycling but today, took day off and spent the whole day with hot/cold therapy and is feeling better

Hope dog-cat union works it way ... Be safe on your travels Stella ...

Enjoy the weekend gang!

Morning.

I'll fix the ruckus and give it back to the owner after I flog it.

Kids seem all better. I still feel like I can't breathe.
I took the intake manifold off my Jeep yesterday. That's about all I had in me.  :-\
