Morning. Every time I take a rapid test (every 2 or 3 days) I yell Not Today, Satan!

I test everyone at work that is feeling sick, or their manager thinks they are sick, or they are back after being out sick, or back after a positive test.

Checking in to see how the Painter family is feeling.   Hoping no news is good news over there!



Coffee ready over here.  

Another week of my brother and SIL staying over (here for a month).  All has been great.  A nephew was here from Michigan for a few days too.

It's going to be verrrrry quiet when they're all gone.

So far, so good. Thanks for asking.

Boy is fine. T, and I, are OK.

This, so far, is not as bad as the cold I had a little over a month ago.

It kicked my ass pretty well.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Mostly a runny nose, and body aches. Haven't had a fever. Don't exactly feel on top of the world, but I can live with it so far. I suspect the antiviral is helping. I'm glad I called the doctor. I still wish that there wasn't a medication conflict. The one I can take does not have the efficacy of the one I wanted. It is what it is.

I should have gone to urgent care with my 'cold'. I suspect I had some sort of lung infection, but I tested negative and I'm too stupid to go to a doctor even with pulse ox numbers scary low. T said I looked like a fish on the bank of a river starving for oxygen. The only good thing to come out of it is I've put down the cigarrettes...hopefully for good this time. Likely far too late, but it can't hurt.

T had a fever, as did Zip, and she's still having sweats and shivers without a fever along with cough/cold symptoms.

I find it interesting how it hits everyone a little differently.

Life was sooooo much easier 'back in the day'. Howie knows what I mean. [laugh]
