My brother lives in Pensacola, so I've spent a fair amount of time there.  I also live in the Orlando area for a bit.  Not great examples of places to live in FL, but have shaped most of my judgement of the state.  I've also been to Daytona and Miami.

Least youve seen a bunch of it; its a flat state with some awesome unique biodiverse brackish mangrove swamps, beach environments, underground eroded limestone karst topography, with some beautiful beaches and a whole bunch of migratory birds and a tone of crocks...

Thanks guys.

I'm not fond of Florida, yes, in spite of being flat there is nice geography and wildlife if you know where to go, but much of the populated part is to me suburbia and strip malls.  I'll leave culture and politics alone.  Good news is we are in DelRay Beach and staying in a wonderful historic hotel.  Also, the street we are is loaded with great restaurants and shops,

Evening all. I like parts of Florida. Grew up mostly in the Jacksonville area.

Florida is the only state where the more northern you go, the more southern you get!
