Had tornado warnings this morning.  That was fun.  I happened to be in the office and the alarm/security warning continued (with sirens) for 30 minutes non stop.  On the upside, the storm shelter there is way better than hiding under the stairway in my townhouse.

Cracked open a beer tonight (first in quite a while - otherwise it's been the red juice) and it's quite tasty.  Pumpkin porter.  [drool]


In other random, useless news:  I've mostly been on my own since I was 18.  Decccaaaades ago.   Kinda like it.   My newest casita has been a revolving door for months now and I like having guests. But one out-of-state friend is taking advantage of it.  She and her friends (that she did not tell me about until the night before she/they arrived - a week later than she originally scheduled) are getting the boot soon.   Before next wave of planned guests arrive this weekend.  And then again later next week.   oh dio mio.

Had a few nice days of sunshine, until a few hours ago when it started raining again ...

Gave teh boot to stepson ... Overstep boundaries in my house, don't care if he's teh son of the wife, no notice, just, get out

It's going to be vey good now that they're moved in.  It was a long process to get to here.  House is 90% done (enough to get the CO from the county anyway).

selling the sailboat.  Some minor stuff to make perfect and some trailer work to do (new bunks, new brakes....).  Hope to be listed by Feb.
