At some point when you have both hands, I'd like to know what happened.

 I was crossing the street and tripped. There was construction and I think my left foot hit some rocks. I then fell forward and broke my fall with my left hand.

LMT, ouch ... To a speedy recovery

First few days of the year that has NOT rained ... Weird weather, it kept on raining until last week ... Normally rains stop at around xmas

Day two of NTX lock down.  No relief in sight until Friday at the earliest.

New HOA community manager is not off to a good start.  One of the homeowners asked if I could help him resolve an unpaid dues issue (they got raised in 2021 and 2022) and for whatever reason a couple homeowners missed the memo.  So they quickly became behind in payments and assessed late fees.  But instead of trying to connect with the homeowners, the previous manager just kept letting the late fees pile up.    I'd prefer to just clean things up and get folks back to square.  The new manager included "If after this date I have not heard back from you regarding this payment plan agreement, the collection process will start with a collection letter sent to you via certified mail." to the email for the homeowner who has been actively trying to correct the situation with no assistance from the previous manager.

Another day, more freezing rain.

Found out my manager is positive for 'vid again.  Saw him at the office Monday morning. Thankfully, test result is negative.  Will retest in a couple days to be sure.

I feel bad for a couple guys who flew in this week (we have a remote work policy that a few team members have opted for) to attend mandatory meetings.  Part of the remote work arrangement is that these trips are on TM dime.  So they flew in on Monday and have spent the majority of their time holed up in a hotel.  Hopefully they can leave tomorrow as planned.

Continuing with the weather chatter:  snowiest, coldest January on record in these parts.  Finally getting into 30's, even 40 degrees soon - the norm.

And kitchen tip # 1,292:  best to turn the garbage disposal off first before trying to retrieve a fork spinning and grinding around - tine side up.

Dinner time and catching up on some work this eve.
