I ran over a Grey squirrel riding the Multi the two days ago.  I called it Howie's International Moment of Zen.

Afternoon.

Going to take the little one to a movie this afternoon.

She wanted to see the Super Mario Brothers movie.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Made it back home last night from Michigan.  Hate leaving my dad. 
Brought my mom with me for a week-ish though - good for her to get out of her house.  Will get her flown back next week (if not sooner - we're polar opposites. But it'll be fine!)  ;)

Evening.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat.  [bang]

And the weather is brutal.  Heat indices ~20* above air temps (currently 97*, feels like 118*).

But for the hike this coming Saturday @ RMNP, I'll be required to have shoe traction devices and trekking poles as the snow / ice pack still exists to warrant them.  I'm actually looking forward to that!
