Last day of work was yesterday.

Some of the students reinforced my decision  :P
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Evening.

Last day (in 2 weeks) coming up for my dad in his current memory care facility.  Two years ago it was mediocre (the best in the area) and it has gone entirely in the shitter at his and other residents' mental, physical and financial expense.

I wish I would win the lottery to keep him at home with 24/7 personal care.  But that hasn't happened yet.

Next best thing is a new facility not too far from the current.  We're hopeful on all fronts.

Well, dogs are dogs and cats are cats ...

I like my job, I enjoy my job ... But when due to stuff, you stop doing something but, then you get your customers who are using that other solution asking you for help since the other company's tech support is useless and I have to tell them that I have no idea how that system works or if that other system has the ability to do what they want/have to do ... Then my boss gets a call from that other company asking him to tell the tech support to stop bad-mouthing their tech support, when I am not doing that ... Just tell customers that, we don't handle the other's company system ... And, the other companies, have more people at tech support than our company
