Good morning.

Got word that a former colleague passed yesterday from cancer at 68.  Seems like his initial diagnosis wasn't that long ago.  I last saw him in early July, before I left the company.  At that time, he looked better than I had expected (although he had lost 60+ lbs) and was in great spirits.  Apparently, he took a real bad turn a couple weeks ago.  Sucks.  RIP, Tad.

In other cancer news, while they haven't ruled out all possibilities for Zeke having cancer, they know that at least one type is not present. More biopsies in the spring/early summer.

I'm mildly relieved...kinda.

Morning from the balmy mountain town of Frisco, CO where it's a whopping 12 degrees this morning.  Home (2 hours away and 5,000 feet lower), where I really don't seem to live anymore, is supposed to top out at low/mid 50's.  

But girlfriend birthdays beckon and I haven't seen them in eons (one in 3 years) so will hopefully be a good day/night in our winter woolies.
