Dave, mate.... Nobody wants to kill DST.

Some of us would like the clocks not to move - or to ignore the moving of the clocks.  As long as I can have DST I'm ok with moving the clocks and I can also support the..... movement.... for the fixing of the clocks (to DST).

So now that's all completely clear.... are you onboard with the movement for no movement?

My working theory is work and school should begin say, three hours after sunrise.

And end at least 3 hours before sunset. So while winter sucks with the perpetual darkness, one would be compensated by working maybe two hours a day. That would be an increase for me, and Nate may notice no difference.

Good evening.

Went for my usual afternoon walk today,  Decided to head east towards a greenway instead of downtown.  A few blocks away, there was a loud commotion and a large LEO presence.  Low and behold, VP Kamala Harris was making a campaign stop at a venue nearby.  There were protesters (of course).  I hung around until she left.  Pretty cool to see something like that up close - I was standing on the corner that the motorcade turned on when they left.  And she waved at me!

Years ago, I had a coworker who got himself into a string of trouble both at work and home.

After yet another incident, his wife forced him to leave the company.  While on his landline with our manager calling in his resignation, our manager said something to the effect of, "you'll never find another job like this, but you can alway find a new wife".  Guess who was on another phone?

To my knowledge, he's never found a better job.  But he did find a new wife.
