As far as the carport roof/deck is concerned: I think it's galvanic corrosion between the dissimilar metals.  Bolt-on sacrificial anode metals are being considered now.  [thumbsup]

Write a cheque?  I can't remember the last time I wrote a cheque.....  Pretty sure I don't own a cheque book anymore.....

In other antiquated news, I've been trying to deal with Corbin....  FMD  [bang]   They make great aftermarket motorcycle seats but trying to do business with them from outside of the USA is a total PITA....  "Credit card payment?"  Not if it's a foreign credit card.  "Paypal?"  Not from outside the US....  "Wire us the money".... um.... maybe  :-\

Talk to Lars. Turns out there's a service in the US that allows people that live in third world countries to have amenities otherwise unavailable. :-*

But I've had billing issues with insurance, so I'll burn through a few checks with them.

Ironically, I just got a nastygram from my HOA regarding payments.  A while back they added a fee for ACH.  So I can either write them a check, or use bill pay.  To use bill pay, I actually have to send the payment an extra week earlier because a physical check needs to be sent to the company.  Now they are complaining that payments are arriving late.  [bang] [bang]

And it's that time in the afternoon, so I'll deal with that tomorrow.
