good morning all. How is everyone today?  Health, job hunts, family?

My friends from CA left yesterday. We saw so much of Buffalo, had good food, went to 3 breweries, and spent a good part of one day on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls.

I'm feeling a little better and doing a little more every day.  Yesterday was nuclear rest and chemical stress test.  Today is follow up with my cardiologist.

The big one is in poor spirits after his braces got installed-his mouth is sore.

I have a headhunter bugging me in a few.

Mostly I'm getting my shop cleaned up and the house sorted out-it's been a disaster for some time after a combination of small kids, covid, and me going to school, way too much got neglected.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

They made me do mine on a treadmill.

Chemical for me because my COPD would not allow me to achieve target pulse rate. Good news, no stent, at least for now.

Bom dia amigos!

Checking in from Portugal!  (of course) 🇵🇹

We started a new Portuguese conversational language class. So far, it's going to be very good for learning new things and increasing my language use confidence.

Work is going well and the missus is enjoying retirement (3 years and running now..)

Finally making Portuguese friends and holding minor conversations with locals.  Not that we don't enjoy living in our bubble of English speaking friends ;)

I've been entertaining the idea of a small motorcycle or a large scooter again… Loads of options in Europe that don't exist in the US.
