Reporting from a very misty, Pacific Northwesty-ish Rocky Mountains.  Highly unusual and I love it.  Back in bed after a pup walk.

Need to get an oil change done on the 4Runner, clean the interior, and spend some time in the kitchen on food prep and making use of some ripe bananas.

Afternoon.

I got my contract extended, so one less thing to deal with for a bit.

I even talked myself into a raise, so there's that.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Good morning all. I was out late with my visiting friends and slept in till 0820. That's the latest I've gotten up all year.

Evening(ish).

Indy 500 was interesting to watch this year.  Lots of oddities, but competitive and fun to watch.

Then had a big downpour here.  Lost power for better part of an hour.

Sun is shining again, should probably get out for a walk.

Average day...until about 7:30 pm.

Got a call from a neighbor about the dog. Seems some older woman found him in the road and was looking for the owner.

Looked around...no dog, I know who let the dog loose...that'd be Zeke. They have a love/hate relationship.

Basically Rowdy got to ride in two different towns police cruisers...even to an accident scene... He's home now, so no worries/no foul.

Call me Kermit...it ain't easy being Zeke's dad...just sayin'.

Truth be told, I just feel fortunate to have good neighbors, a good boy, and a good dog.

Good to hear about the positive outcome, Nate. When B-dawg was still around he got out of the yard a few times (usually sans collar) and that was stressful trying to find him - thankfully always a successful reunion. 

Just watched the replay of the British GP - also a very wild and competitive race!
