I can't wind down for holiday this year.  I was looking forward to a nice long few days with Cindy and my folks, but the viewing is friday and funeral is saturday.

Im leaving my dog with her and heading down to pittsburgh with my parents for the end of the week.

Got Duc

Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

If one thing is glaringly apparent . . .

that would be it.

The other (you'd think [roll] ) is not driving 75mph on a snow covered highway with less than 500' visibility.

What?  Noooo, I won't fly off the road and get stuck in the weeds.  Never gonna happen.  what. . woooooaaaaaaaahhhhh! <crash>

Now Im stuck doing 2.2mph (according to gps) in double lane traffice that's merging to single lane, the snow is getting worse, the snow on the ground is turning to ice because it's 30*, we're all moving slower than frozen snails and the salt trucks are waaaaaay back yonder doing me no good.

Now my 40 minute ride home was delayed by another 30 or so because some make the beast with two backs tard in a minivan needed to be somewhere a little faster.

Dumbass.

I've noticed.

Might I suggest adding that aspect to your resume. . .

EveNing all.

Gotta love (idiot) driver mentality.

5 raindrops and people slow to 10 mph.

Ice packed roads and snowing and people do 90.  "I can get through anything... I have four wheel drive!"  [bang] [bang] [bang]

No snow here, though did not warm up as much as was predicted.

Flight went well.  Now just a few more hours to get ready for the check ride!

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Ning all,

Dave is going out for the evening to a casino with his mom and brother.  That's not my sort of thing, plus I seem to have a bit of a cold, so I'm staying in tonight.  I'll work on replacing the tubes in his old bike, then sit by the fire.

Bummed to see a post like this one.  And people think I'm some super conservative wuss when I try to steer brand new riders away from a brand new Duc. :-\

Pumping up the front now, will take a while with these fat tires and the hand pump that I brought with me.

I should have brought tire levers, but I eventually improvised with spoon handles (good thing Dave's mom is out too). ;D
