still snow'n?
Not at the moment!  Snowed all day yesterday.  We had a white Christmas here in Kent.  L's folks live just outside of Seattle.  Takes half an hour to drive here.

Everyone left for a walk at a park so they could watch the dog run like crazy and eat snow.  L. drove the Jeep for the first time ever in snow.  Hope she does not wreck on her birthday!

How is your weather?

OK, she likes the earings.   [clap]  I cried.  I was worried that she would say it was too much.

Damn Mary!  Those are really nice!!!

I'm up which is more than I can say for my brother.  We partied with some friends of his last night.  Damn did we gorge ourselves!  Everything tasted fabulous from the 6-bottle wine flight, the 2 champagnes, the brandy soaked fig appitizer, the 23lb turkey, some amazing form of cranberry goodness, mashed 'taters, veggies, salad w/crab meat & caviar, fresh bread, and at least 6 desserts as there were purportedly more we didn't get to.  Oh, and the desserts included rum balls, the most amazing pear tart (which was the size of a friggin large pizza!), and brandy soaked pears.

Drunk? Yes.
Stuffed?  Yes.
Satisfied?  Surely.
Happy?  For the first time at a holiday event in about 7 years.

Oh, and I met an amazing 96 year-young man who was a hoot to talk to.

Much love to my DMF friends during this holiday season,

AfternoonNing, all.

Quickly looked through the last couple pages...

It's Friday.  Didn't see that that was mentioned.  (Probably one page past where I stopped)

Just passed Tyler, TX.  On my way home.  Finally!!!

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

It's like I keep saying:  Those who would sacrifice a free range session for a giant beer, deserve neither free range time nor a giant beer.

i have had guys reach back and grab my crotch in an attempt to get around me. i'll either blow in their ear or ask them politely to let go of my wang.

Home sweet home!  Fun to stay overnight at the in-laws, but good to be home.  The dog can relax and I can do what I want.

And right now I want to eat chips, drink beer, and surf the DMF!

You go girl!  Glad Laura liked her gift and you're home safe and sound.

Merry Christmas!

Mal: "That it was manly and impulsive?"

Inara: "Yes, precisely. Only the exact phrase I used was 'don't'."
