Good night, Nate.

BTY, poured a "grapey" VT.  Found a couple bottles of Absolut crap.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I'm not dead yet.

WTF is a grapey VT?

Mmmmm nyquil. Hopefully this will drug me up enough so I can sleep for more than a couple hours without waking up wheezing.

Packing for Canada!

It's apparently 3 degrees there right now, and not going to improve much.

I'm pretty sure I'm one of the few people going who has actually driven in the snow.

And one of the guys in my crew, has never even seen snow. Poor guy is in for a surprise.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Eh, I suspect I'll be doing better than the native Californians.

I will introduce them to the joys of unexpected snowballs.  ;D

Snow....it's just white, light and turns to water.

Now the 3 degrees is serious stuff when mixed with Snow. That's a bad combination. Changes the whole sequence of events especially when a car is involved. Introduce a 15 mph breeze and it will feel like -10. Some Sand will help give you traction if you find yourself in a slippery situation where you can't get traction.  Go easy on the accelerator especially if you get stuck in the Snow or Ice.

If you have to drive any distance be sure to have plenty of VERY warm clothes , take some wool blankets , a Flash Light , food and water in case you should ( hopefully not ) have a breakdown or get lost or stuck .

There are all kinds of nasty things that cold will do to a car's electrical system and to your body in short order.

Don't mean to sound alarmist but I would not like to read that some unfortunate cold weather tragedy befell you or your friends.       Dolph     :)
