Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

Big Troubled Bear

Sorry guys I don`t want to dampen the spirits today, but I have just received some bad news that one of my friends died early this morning in a motorcycle accident.

He was the owner of the 999 that I did the Alien theme on.

Some make the beast with two backswit in a car changed lanes without indicating and sideswiped him, taking his leg off, he died of his injuries in hospital this morning.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Sorry to hear the sad news Bear, RIP Barry.

We had crazy weather yesterday, 35-40 mph winds.  Coming home, I was worried about being blown over at stop lights / stop signs, trees were throwing things at me left and right (got hit by a few smaller branches), and the twisties were covered in branches, I had to play hopscotch through quite a few corners.

Then got home, found the power out, luckily there was enough daylight to walk the dogs, get a fire started, and light some candles.  Unfortunately I discovered that the outlet on the emergency generator doesn't match the plug on the transfer switch.  [bang]  Power is back on this morning though. [thumbsup]

Sorry about your friend Bear.  RIP Barry.

Glad your power is back on P.  When we lived in Santa Cruz there were rolling blackouts.  You would open the daily paper to see what day and what time your power was going out.  They should all be preannounced.

Yeah, I remember the rolling blackouts back then, that was because of the whole deregulation fiasco.

This was because of branches falling on power lines, a bit harder to predict. ;)

Dogs are finally awake, time for our walk!
