Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

I got in my hooky ride today, 35 miles, ~4800'.

On one of the technical descents, I started out with a car right behind me.  I tried to stay to the right in case he wanted to pass (although there weren't any good spots for it).  I realized after a couple of turns he wasn't there anymore, figured he had turned into a driveway.  At the straight bit at the end, he finally caught up to me and complimented me on my descending. 8)
