So, are the Rockies full of steep 10 mph hairpin turns? Cause when you're a flatlander, that shit is scary!  :o

Not much, Nate.
Been mourning - 4 days of technical roads and I stay up right, then my kickstand snaps at an apt complex in Houston and the 996 falls over  [bang]  [laugh]
Bent clip on, broken clutch lever, need a new stand, possibly bent fairing stay, cracked nose fairing (the part between the headlights snapped).
Ah well, the joys of the superbike  ;D

I've got track fairings too - will take it out when I get back from CO. But I don't think I could ride this thing just once a month - it's too damn much fun  [evil]

Thanks  ;D Has some "customization" due to the guy parking in a no parking zone  [laugh] But i'm not one for loud exhausts (on cars) soooo it won't break my heart to pull it off and put a stocker on there.  Seems impecably maintained, and a bit of a departure from the volvo 850R station wagon I have been rockin the last few months  [laugh] [laugh]
