He had an ST that the customer changed his own fuel filter, and started to do his own major service.

I adjusted the valves on the horiz cyl and we started to reassemble.

Put the tank on and put a small amount of gas in it. The bike ran , but didn't have enough fuel, and when we added some more...

it just poured out of the pump flange.

Needless to say the guy had taken a huge chunk out of the o-ring.

Did you check his rear brake?  The caliper is probably loose.
2000 Monster 900Sie, a few changes
1992 900 SS, currently a pile of parts.  Now running
                    flogged successfully  NHMS  12 customized.  Twice.   T3 too.   Now retired.

When I go back Wednesday we're gonna finish things up...

The guy is running an open airbox and cans with a stock chip so we may have to change that.

We also have to put a wrench on all the chassis fasteners. ;)

Sounds like a good day.  I made a Costco run for my friend Judith and then visited with her for a couple of hours.  I fixed a computer problem, fixed the computer chair, and then cut her hair.  She is out on disability and does not get out. 
Then I did some work stuff.  Still doing it. 

Dinner soon and then the next true blood dvd.
