Forks are bent on the old duc, and one is pitted pretty bad.   :'(  My old man thinks he can straighten them at work.  I'm not so sure about that but I need a special tool to get them apart any way so I have some time to do some research.

Also built one of those plywood bike tables.  Works great  [thumbsup]

Time search the interwebz for parts, read some manuals, and of course  [drink]

Hope everyone is having a good evening.

The tube can be straightened.

The pitting might require re-plating.

That is basically what I have read.  Pitting looks bad on one, but what do I know.  Need to find a local shop for an estimate.  Everything is time or money.  This project is looking like time AND money.  Oh well, it's fun.  Makes me want to punch a wall, and I may never finish, but still fun.  ;D

I think I will leave my Monster forks to DucVet.

The nice thing about conventional forks is the seal fit is not as crucial because the oil is in the lower leg below the seal.

A good plater can fix those. It may not be cheap. If you could find a set of ceriani forks on the flea it might save time and money. You'll know after some research.

The vet can do the monster up right.

no, not at all... we get along great, better than i do with my own mom :)

Ning!  Vaction good!  No rain today and off for some  [wine]
tasting.

Spent Friday night with my 2 best friends from college (Mills) and their kids.  Fun times.

My head hurts from to much beer and rock band.  I suck on the drums, but can get in the high 90's on vocals.  They need more classic rock!

Have a great day all!

Good MoreNing DMF!!

Glad to hear your vacation is going well, LMT.   [thumbsup]

Not much happening here.

Leaving for a long run (bike ride for B) in a little bit.
