LMT

I got a kitchen scale today.  Now I can weigh the ingredients when I cook.   [beer]

I can also weigh the beer and figure out the calories.  .43 calorie factor per gram.

Duck-Stew

Ever-ning!

I swapped out the axle shafts on the Prelude today.  And now...with grease-covered fore-arms I remember that mechanics EARN thier money.  I can work on cars.  I just hate it is all.  Didn't use to...

Anywho.  Going out for SUSHI!  Yippee!!!!

River says Howdy!  I said Hi.
Bike-less Portuguese immigrant enjoying life.

The Bacon Junkie

I have the two best roomates and friends a guy can ask for.
River, Duck-Stew, you're the two most fantastic, caring, thoughtful, talented, beautiful (inside and out), amazing people I have ever met!  [thumbsup]

I came home this evening from a shitty day at work, they ask
me how my day was, knowing by my look it was the suck. Next thing E says is "wanna go with us to sushi?"  ... The day just got better.  Stew tells me he replaced the driveshafts in the 'lude and some bushings and stuff on the gear shift.... Then he tosses me the keys.   [bacon]   I take her for a spin  [evil] and work out some of my stress through some fast corners. Thanks Stew, I needed that.

Sushi was fantastic (thanks E)!  We come home, plop in front of the tube, and E comes in and says she has a book for me.  Next thing I know, she's handing me a net book!!!  :o  Merry Christmas! ...she says.

You two are the BEST!  ThanKs for making my day brighter.   [beer]  :)

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.

so driving home from work (and on the way to work) and I get this weird feelin' like I ought to sell the bike to the dude from saturday.

turns out, he's buying another bike.

a 620 stroodle he test rode before, then decided to test ride again for a comparo vs. my bike. likes the ergos on it better, which is fine.

only, the girl he's buying the bike from was selling it so she could buy my bike. small make the beast with two backsing rock, here.

on a side note, this afternoon at work made me very, very sad.

DRKWNG

Why?  Maybe the girl selling the stroodle will turn around and want to buy the monster, which was the original plan right?

Anyhow, Some 'ning all.  My body clock is all F'ed up at the moment...

wow teddy... it is a small world  :-\
hope you find better days soon  :)

the coffee's ready. green mountain organic dark roast  [coffee] mmmmm mmmmm mmmmm

teddy037.2

I am fully expecting an email in a few days...

it's not much of a secret that sam wanted to buy my bike

but I think that the end of shift, er, yesterday, had gotten me into a pretty shitty mood.

it's one thing to ride the downward spiral, it's another to see one of our best apprentices turn straight alcoholic because of mgmt's utter stupidity... that sort of thing really sets a "make the beast with two backs this place" attitude toward everything.
