day in the kitchen planned

homefries eggs and toast
baking xmas cookies
chicken cacciatore

i planned on being snowed in

sounds like a good day.

We opted for the Brueggers bagels for breakfast, but Tiff has some cookies to bake.

I made the chili yesterday, so not much to do other than stir every hour or so and keep adding seasoning to taste.

I'm familiar with the concept from when we drive a few hours to go skiing. [cheeky]

(and from growing up in Chicago and spending a few years in New England etc.)
